Strategy: Provide health services for all

The UN Sustainable Development Goals envision major progress toward bringing the HIV/AIDS epidemic under control and improving reproductive and maternal/child health through rapid scale-up of health services in low and middle-income countries.

Achieving the 2030 goals will require new resources, as well as much more efficient use of existing resources.

However, countries lack tools to routinely monitor key indicators such as expenditure per unit of output, limiting their capacity to measure and monitor changes in efficiency.

The Routine Efficiency Monitoring System (REMS), developed by FHI 360, is designed to address this challenge.
